英文摘要This paper deals with the difference in residence time of the two reagent/sample interface peaks produced in a single channel manifold. This difference in residence time is explained on the basis of a dispersion model, and the relevant factors were studied. It was found that in both sample injection (SI) and reagent injection (RI), in addition to the relative reagent and sample concentrations and injection volumes, the diffusivities of the sample and the reagent will affect the peak shape and detection sensitivity. The sensitivity in peak height measurements and peak area measurements in SI and RI are compared and explained.
