Higgs study at the LHC with the ATLAS detector

英文摘要The discovery of Higgs particle at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) in 2012 is a milestone in particle physics. The success of Higgs mechanism completes the Standard Model (SM), explains the fundamental question how mass is generated and unifies the electromagnetic and weak forces into the electroweak force. After the discovery, the remaining interests of Higgs study at the LHC are to determine whether the new particle is a SM Higgs, search for Higgs from the other production modes in addition to the major production mode (Gluon Fusion) and hunt for the Beyond Standard Model (BSM) Higgs, etc. In this presentation, the speaker will report the progresses of these topics. The important contributions that IHEP ATLAS group has made will be highlighted. In addition, the status of the analyses with Run 2 data at ATLAS will be summarized and the well performed detector demonstrates that ATLAS is ready for the Run2 Higgs study.;
