英文摘要The microbial activity of Thiobacillus ferrooxidans under high concentration of uranium'is the key point for successful application of microbe leaching technology to uranium. It becomes therefore very important to deal with the. adaptation of. Thiobacillus ferrooxidans to high concentration of uranium. After fixing the optimum culture condition(which is pH 1.8, temperature 30, 20% for inoculated size and 90 min/r for venting condition), the microbial activity of Thiobacillus ferrooxidans under different uranium concentration was. studied. The results showed that high concentration of uranium would restrain microbe to grow; however, the restrain process can be reduced by domestication. Furthermore, the kinetic parameters of bacteria growth after domestication in high concentration of uranium under the optimum culture condition were determined. The growth rate of Thiobacillus ferrooxidans cells obtained was 0.0322 /h.
