| 英文摘要 | Since 1992, Yunnan Astronomical Observatory has started site testing in northwest of Yunnan Province. Gaomeigu in Li Jiang was finally chosen for the new site of ground-based optical astronomy. Supported by the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Government of Yunnan Province and the Chinese Academy of Sciences, a 2m class telescope project was granted. In this paper, we will review the site briefly, give the details of our new telescope, and related topics. |
