中文摘要 | The purpose of this research was to investigate the competitive adsorption of bovine serum albumin (BSA) and collagen on various hydrophilicity surfaces with Imaging Ellipsometry and its effects on cell adhesion. Silicon surfaces with various hydrophilicity were incubated with the binary protein solution and an anti-BSA solution in order. By measuring the thickness distribution of the protein layers with Imaging Ellipsometry, protein competitive adsorption on substrata could be deduced. Substrata coated with protein were incubated in NIH3T3 fibroblasts or ROS 17/2.8 cells suspension The results showed that (1) in the binary protein solution of BSA and collagen, BSA preferentially adsorbed onto hydrophobic surfaces, but collagen on hydrophilic surfaces. (2) NIH3T3 fibroblasts adhered mostly and spread well on hydrophilic surface but hardly spread on hydrophobic surfaces conditioned with dimethyldichlorosilane (DMS). But it was reversed for ROS cell adhesion on hydrophobic surfaces conditioned with octadecyltrichlorosilane (OTS) and hydrophilic surfaces showing that cell adhesion was influenced by not only protein competitive adsorption but also cell type. |
