Study on mercury-binding proteins in rats by hyphenated technique of high performance liquid chromatography-isotope dilution-inductively coupled plasma-mass Spectrometry

| 英文摘要 | Mercury-binding proteins in brain and liver cytosol of the dam and pup rats after methylmereury in utero, and lactation exposure were determined by high performance liquid chromatography ( HPLC)-inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry(ICP-MS) hyphenated technique. The contents of mercury in the brain and liver cytosol of dam and pup rats were quantitatively calculated with the method of post-column isotope dilution (ID) ICP-MS. It was shown that there was a good coincidence between the methods of HPLC-ID-ICP-MS and direct ID-ICP-MS on total mercury concentration. The results demonstrated that HPLC-ID-ICP-MS could provide a reliably qualitative and quantitative results for mercury-binding protein study in organisms. Such a technique could also be useful for speciation study of other trace elements. |
