A novel multifunctional PTFE/PEO composite coating prepared by one-step method

| 英文摘要 | The PTFE-containing PEO (PTFE/PEO) composite coating is fabricated on aluminium alloy by the one-step method. The composite coating integrates the advantages of wear resistance of PEO coating and a low friction coefficient and excellent corrosion resistance of polytetrafluoroethylene. Inspection of SEM, XRD and FT-IR analysis indicates that PTFE nanoparticles could effectively seal the pores of the PEO coating. The PTFE/PEO composite coating exhibits good tribological properties. And the potentiodynamic polarization and salt spray tests reveal that the composite coating was successful in providing superior corrosion resistance to aluminium alloy. |
