英文摘要 | Continuous composite ceramic fibres of ZrC-SiC and ZrC-ZrB2-SiC were synthesized via melt spinning and pyrolysis of a novel polymeric precursor, polyzirconocenecarbosilane (PZCS), with or without the addition of polymethylaminoborazine (PBN) as a boron source. The resultant fibres had mass concentrations of zirconium carbide, diboride, or both of approximately 15%. Their microstructures exhibited nanoscale ZrC and ZrB2 particles dispersed in a continuous SiC matrix containing free carbon. The tensile strength of the fibres was approximately 1 GPa.
