中文摘要探讨了以808 nm波长激光作为泵浦源时,铒铥共掺钨碲酸盐光纤的近红外发射光谱。通过调整光纤长度与泵浦功率,在Er_2O_3与Tm_2O_3掺杂浓度分别为0.3%(质量分数,下同)和1.0%的10 cm长钨碲酸盐光纤中获得了半高宽(FWHM)约130 nm的宽带发射光谱。该宽带发射光谱由铒离子在~4I_(13/2)~4I_(15/2)的1.52mum发光与铥离子~3H_4~3F_4的1.45mum发光组成。铒、铥离子间的能量转移过程在发光机制中扮演重要角色。此光纤有望作为1400~1600 nm光纤低损耗通信波段的宽带光源及宽带光纤放大器增益材料。
英文摘要The near-infrared emission spectra of Er~(3+)-Tm~(3+) co-doped tungsten tellurite fiber were investigated using an 808nm laser as an excitation source. By optimizing the fiber length and pump power, we obtained a broadband emission with a full-width at half-maximum (FWHM) of more than 130nm, comprising 1.52mum emission from the~4I_(13/2)~4I_(15/2) transition of Er~(3+) and 1.45mum emission from the~3H_4~3F_4 transition of Tm~(3+), in a 0.3% Er2O3 and 1.0% Tm2O3 co-doped tungsten tellurite fiber with the length of 10cm. The energy transfer process between Er~(3+) and Tm~(3+) plays an important role in the luminescence mechanism. This fiber could be a promising gain material for broadband light sources and broadband fiber amplifiers for telecommunications in the 1400-1600 nm low-loss transmission windows.
