中文摘要研究了含Er~(3+)离子浓度较高(1.55 * 10~(20)cm~(-3))的磷酸盐玻璃中Yb~(3+)敏化离子浓度和Al_2O_3含量对Er~(3+)离子光谱性质的影响。根据掺Er~(3+)磷酸盐玻璃的吸收光谱,利用Judd-Ofelt理论计算了强度参数Omega_t(t = 2,4,6)、Er~(3+)离子的~4I_(13/2) ~4I_(15/2)能级跃迁振子强度、自发辐射几率等光谱参数。用McCumber理论计算了Er~(3+)离子的受激发射截面,结果表明Yb~(3+)离子浓度不影响Er~(3+)离子的受激发射截面,但会影响Er~(3+)离子荧光强度,Yb~(3+)含量越高,Er~(3+)的荧光越强。对掺Er~(3+)磷酸盐玻璃的荧光上转换光谱测试表明,Yb~(3+)含量越高,上转换荧光越强,玻璃上转换主要表现为双光子吸收机理。
英文摘要The spectroscopic properties and fluorescent up-conversion of Er3+ ions-doped phosphate glasses have been studied in this work. The effect of Al2O3 contents and Yb3+ co-doping concentration on the spectroscopic properties and up-conversion was explored. According to Judd-Ofelt(J-O) theory, J-O parameters, Omega(t) ( t = 2, 4, 6) of erbium phosphate glasses have been calculated from the measured absorption spectra. The glasses with lower Al2O3 contents have larger Omega(4) and slightly larger Omega(2). The Yb3+ ion concentration does not affect J-O parameters. The oscillator strength, spontaneous emission probability, quantum efficiency, up-conversion coefficient of Er3+ have been calculated from the measured fluorescent lifetime and the calculated J-O parameters. The stimulated emission cross section of Er3+ ions was calculated by using McCumber theory. It is found that the stimulated emission cross section of Er3+ ion is larger in the glass with lower Al2O3 concentration. The Yb3+ ion concentration strongly affects the up-conversion intensity of the glasses studied. It increases with Yb3+ ion concentration. It is deduced from experiment results that the double-photon absorption involves the up-conversion process. The calculated up-conversion coefficient is small in Er3+ phosphate glasses. It is mainly determined by Er3+ ion concentration. After water removing treatment, the quantum efficiency can be larger than 90% in the erbium phosphate glasses.
