中文摘要为克服测量波片相位延迟量过程中难以精确判定消光位置的缺点,提出相对角度法测量波片的相位延迟量。与传统测量方法相比,不需要通过寻找光强极值点位置来调整光学元件的方位角,消除了方位角定位误差对测量结果的影响,降低了测量难度,提高了测量精度。运用Mueller矩阵对该测量方法进行理论分析,推导出测量公式。实测了适用波长lambda=532 nm的1/4波片的相位延迟量,测量结果的平均值和标准差分别为90.072°和0.42°,与波片的标称值和精度相符,很好地验证了测量方法的有效性。
英文摘要A relative angle method for measuring the phase retardation of wave plates is presented. Although it′s difficult to accurately determine the extinction position, this method has nothing to do with it. Compared with traditional methods, there is no need to find the extreme value positions to adjust the azimuth angle of the optical elements. And it can eliminate the influence of positioning error on the measurement results. This method not only reduces the difficulty of measurement, but also improves the accuracy of the measurement. Based on Mueller matrix, the theory as well as the measurement formula is derived. The phase retardation of 1/4 plate is measured when the suitable wavelength is 532 nm. The mean value and standard deviation are 90.072° and 0.42°,respectively. The usefulness of this method is verified by the result of the experiment.
