中文摘要 | 波分复用技术对于光通信技术的发展起到巨大的推动作用,全光网的建设也将以波分复用技术为基础,而各种光器件则为波分复用技术提供了具体的解决方案.在密集波分复用技术中,随着通信速率和信道复用密度的提高,一种新型的光器件—光学交错梳状滤波器(Interleaver)应运而生.该文对实现光学交错梳状滤波器的主要技术方案进行了较为深入的理论分析,对基于偏振干涉原理的光学交错梳状滤波器进行了实验研究,取得了较好的结果.该文还分析了155Mbits/sec大气光通信系统的设计方案、工作原理及系统构成,给出了该系统的现场通信实验结果.在做大气光通信的实验过程中,发现立方角锥棱镜有一定的有效反射面积,证明了该有效反射区的存在,在垂直入射的情况下计算其面积为底面的三分之二. |
英文摘要 | The application of dense wavelength division multiplexing (DWDM) gave an impetus to the rapid progress of optical fiber communications, and DWDM technology will provide the foundation for the building of all-optical networking (AON) in the future, and DWDM solutions depend on all kinds of optical devices. With progress of high speed and narrow channel spacing DWDM systems, recently an optical interleaver is proposed, and this novel optical device separates DWDM signal channels with equal spacing into two groups with twice the spacing. In this dissertation, several optical interleaver solutions are theoretically analyzed in detail, and optical interleaver based on birefringence of crystal and interference of polarized beam is investigated experimentally, the two prototype devices with better experimental result is achieved. The optical spectrum characteristics of optical interleaver based on birefringence of crystal and interference of polarized beam are analyzed by using interference theory of polarized beam and Jones matrix method. An elementary configuration of this optical interleaver is designed, which was made up of four YVO4 crystals and three fiber collimators in experiment. The interleaved optical spectrum of this optical interleaver in C-band of fiber communications is archived experimentally, which can be used in lOOGHz and 50GHz channels spacing DWDM systems. The two prototype optical interleavers with interleaved optical spectrum were realized. The characteristics of insertion loss, optical spectrum, and temperature effects of passive optical devices in fiber communications are stringent. The optical interleaver with practicality is designed. First, an optical interleaver with a new configuration is analyzed, which implement superposition of e-beam and o-beam by using three half-wavelength plates. Second, a temperature compensation scheme of this optical interleaver is designed by matching of thermal optical coefficient and thermal expansion coefficient of two kinds of crystal. The last, a flattop passband spectrum shape of this optical interleaver is analyzed by Jones matrix, with cascaded crystals of different phase retardation. Two kinds of optical interleaver based on multimirror Fabry-Perot interferometers and fiber Mach-Zehnder interferometer are theoretically analyzed, respectively. The conditions of flattop passband spectrum shape of these optical interleavers are analyzed, and the flattop passband spectrum distributions are presented, respectively. In addition, the scheme, design, and configuration of 155Mbits/sec atmospheric optical communication system are analyzed in this dissertation, and the outfield communication experiment results of this system are presented. In this experiment, a phenomenon is observed and testified that the effective reflection area of a cube corner retroreflector (CCR) exists, and the calculated result of effective reflection area is two thirds of the CCR undersurface, with the ray incident on the CCR undersurface vertically. |
