中文摘要 | 非经典光子对,特别是纠缠光子对在量子信息、量子计算、量子通信、量 子成像等方面有重要的研究和应用价值。传统上,一般采用非对称晶体中的自 发参量下转换过程制备纠缠光子对。这种办法结构简单,容易实现,但是产生 的光子对带宽很宽,应用受到限制。基于冷原子介质的四波混频产生光子对是 一个新兴的研究领域。利用冷原子介质中的四波混频过程可以获得亚自然线 宽的光子对,非常适合在光子存储、远程量子通信、线性量子计算等方面的应 用。 理论上,本论文将详细介绍冷原子介质中的四波混频过程产生非经典关联 光子对的两种理论处理办法。 实验上,本论文将介绍冷原子介质中的四波混频制备非经典关联光子对的 实验,包含三能级系统和二能级系统下的一些实验结果。在三能级系统下,我 们观察到了违背柯西—施瓦兹不等式的非经典关联光子对。在二能级系统下, 我们获得了与国际上相近的结果。论文中还包含对四波混频实验中遇到的一些 具体问题的详细分析和处理。 此外,还将介绍利用腔增强四波混频过程产生光子对的理论,在腔环境下, 光子对的关联与自由空间中存在很大差别。 我们也发现在双电磁感应透明下,光子对在群速色散区域内可以存在两个 通道,进而发生干涉产生衰减的拉比振荡,拓展了对光子对关联波形的现有认 识。 |
英文摘要 | Nonclassicalphotonpairs, especiallyentangledentangledphotonpairs, havemany important applications in quantum information, quantum computation, quantum com- munication, quantum imaging, etc. Traditionally, photon pairs are usually generated by the spontaneous down conversion process in a non-centrosymmetric crystal. This method is very simple. However, the bandwidth of paired photons is very broad, so the fields of application of this method are limited. The emerging method of four-wave mixing in cold atomic medium can produce narrow bandwidth, even sub-natural pho- ton pairs, very suitable for the applications of photon storage, long distance quantum communication, linear quantum computation, etc. In theory, we describe the two methods to deal with the theory of biphoton gener- ation via four wave mixing in cold atomic ensembles in detail. In experiment, we describe the experiment of biphoton generation via four wave mixing in cold atomic ensembles, including in the three-level system and in the two- level system. In the three-level system, we observe the correlation of photon pairs vio- lates the Cauchy-Schwartz inequality. In the two-level system, we observe the similar results as other international groups. The thesis also includes some detail information about the problems and their solutions in the experiment. Inaddition, wedescribethetheoryofcavityenhancedfour-wavemixingforbipho- ton generation. With cavity, the correlation of paired photons is very different to the case of non-cavity. We also find in the case of double electromagnetically induced transparency, there exist two channels of the biphoton generation in the group delay regime. The interfer- ence of two channels induces a damped Rabi oscillation in the two-photon correlation. This mechanism will extend the knowledge of the interference in the two-photon level. |
