白光LED用新型荧光材料的制备和性能

中文摘要 | LED光源由于具有光效高、耗能低、寿命长、可靠性强、绿色环保等特性,近几年得到了广泛的应用。特别是在全球能源短缺、环境污染等问题日益严重的背景下,LED在照明领域的前景更备受关注。目前流行的白光LED的都是利用LED和荧光粉的组合,最著名的是日亚化学利用蓝光LED,将黄色YAG荧光粉通过树脂封装,利用蓝黄光的互补得到白光。在这种传统的封装结构中,荧光粉以颗粒的形式分散在树脂中。随着人们对照明要求的不断提高,这种工艺结构暴露出了越来越多的局限性:如工艺繁琐,分档困难,能量耗损大,耐热性差等。 为了克服传统封装结构的缺陷,近年来开发“无粉、无胶”的高性能荧光体是白光LED研发中的重要课题,如玻璃、陶瓷、晶体以及其复合体等。本论文提出了具有高外量子效率的YAG-Al2O3共晶荧光材料和锰铬掺杂的镁铝尖晶石荧光衬底,具体研究内容主要包括: 1. Ce掺杂的YAG-Al2O3共晶荧光材料的制备工艺:采用提拉法、温梯法以及浮区法等多种方法制备共晶材料,并通过调整工艺参数改善微结构,提高共晶质量。 2. Ce掺杂的YAG-Al2O3共晶荧光材料的光谱性能的研究,以及影响光谱性能的各种因素。 3. 采用Cr,Pr,Mn等各种稀土及过渡金属的共掺杂来改善光谱性能,补充光谱的红光成分。 4. 基于共晶荧光体封装的LED封装测试及性能研究,初步分析了影响LED效率及色度学参数的因素。 5. 基于新概念LED荧光衬底的镁铝尖晶石材料的研究:通过Mn,Cr的共掺在粉体中实现了蓝光激发的绿光+红光发射,并制备了单晶样品。 |
英文摘要 | In recent years, white-light-emitting diodes (LEDs) have attracted much attention due to their superior features as high efficiency, compactness, long operational lifetime, and environmental friendliness, especially in the case of global pollution and energy shortage. Now, it is very popular to combine a LED chip with phosphor to obtain white light, such as the combination of GaInN blue chip with YAG: Ce yellow phosphor, which was first developed by Nichia in 1990s. In the traditional LEDs, the phosphor was dispersed in the resin in the form of particles. With the increasing demands for high quality lighting, this kind of structure exposes more and more problems: complex packaging, low efficiency, poor thermo stability, and so on. In order to solve these problems, developing novel phosphors without resin has gradually become focus of LED fields. Kinds of glass, ceramic, crystal and composites of them have been developed. In this work, we introduce YAG-Al2O3 eutectic and magnesia-alumina spinel, and the main contents include: 1. Preparation of Ce-doped YAG-Al2O3 by Czochralski method, TGT method and optical floating zone method. Growth parameters were modified to improve the quality of the eutectic. 2. Investigating the spectra properties of Ce-doped YAG-Al2O3 eutectic and related factors 3. Improving the color rendering index by co-doping of Cr, Pr, Mn in the Ce-doped YAG-Al2O3 eutectic; 4. The package of LED chips with eutectic phosphor; analyzing the factors which affect the LEDs’ properties. 5. Investigating the magnesia-alumina spinel as fluorescence substrate for white LEDs, including the preparation and spectra of Mn, Cr co-doped spinel powders and single crystals. |
