中文摘要 | 激光问世以后,科学家们提出了采用激光作为驱动器实现惯性约束核聚变(ICF)的设想,不少国家都建造了高功率的激光驱动装置。大型计算机和干涉技术的出现使得高密度光栅的设计与制作成为可能,并成为激光驱动装置中重要的光学元器件之一。由于工CF装置是目前最大的光学工程之一,它将现有的光学设计技术和加工工艺推向了极限,对应用其中的光栅提出了相当苛刻的要求,比如要求大口径,宽光谱,高衍射效率,高面形精度、高激光损伤阈 值等。因此,设计光栅的精细结构并研究其对性能的影响具有重要现实意义。本博士论文针对适用于高功率激光装置的光栅偏振分束器和压缩器,主要开展了以下几个方面的研究工作。 |
英文摘要 | After the advent of lasers, the idea of using it as drive to achieve inertial confinement fusion (ICF) have attracted great interesting, and now many countries have theix own high-power laser facilities. With the development of mainframe computer and optical interference technologies, it is possible to design and fabricate high-density gratings, which are now one of the most important optical devices in the high power lasers. As one of the hugest optical engineering in the world, ICF drive's requirement on the optical elements is quite demanding. The gratings used in the system are desired to be fabricated with large aperture, high diffraction efficiency, wide spectral width, high surface accuracy, high laser induced damage threshold, and so on. Therefore, it is necessary to design the fine structure of the grating, and investigate the effect of the structure on the gratings' properties. This PhD thesis focuses on the design of grating polarization beam splitters and grating compressors or stretchers, and the main works are described in the following aspects. |
