中文摘要啁啾脉冲放大(Chirped-pulse-amplification,简称:CPA)技术是获得超强超短激光输出的最基本技术,己广泛应用于钦宝石系统,钦玻璃系统和参量放大系统。近年来,由于强场物理、快点火等前沿研究的迫切需求,超短脉冲激光系统向着更大规模,更高功率(或更高能量)和更优质量方向发展,工程造价和技术难度不断上升。从而对啁啾脉冲放大的理论和技术提出了更高的新要求。 本论文在前人研究的基础上,发展了普适的一般性宽带啁啾脉冲放大理论模型:全面研究了增益介质频带宽度、增益变窄、增益饱和、自相位调制、材料色散、能级弛豫等因素的综合效应:建立了一套具有正、逆向运算能力的CPA系统模拟计算和总体设计程序;具体设计了一高功率钦宝石放大系统,并进行了相关的实验研究。本论文工作为CPA激光系统的性能研究和总体系统的优化设计提供了理论基础,对发展大型高性能超强激光系统具有指导性实际意义。
英文摘要Chirped-pulse-amplification (CPA) is a basic technique to obtain an ultrashort and ultrahigh-intensity laser, which has been widely used in Ti:Sapphire, Nd:Glass, and optical parametric laser systems. In the past few years, ultrashort laser amplifying systems have been developed towards larger scale, higher power (or higher energy), and higher quality due to its pressing requirements in the fields of high-intensity physics, fast ignition et al.. Cost and difficulty in laser system building increase accordingly. At the same time, new problems in theory and technology about chirped-pulse amplification arise. In this issertation, we extended the theory model of chirped-pulse-amplification to the run-of-mill universal ultra-broad bandwidth one upon the preceding work of the others; comprehensively investigated the integration influence of the elements of spectral bandwidth of the gain-medium, gain-narrowing, gain-saturation, self-phase modulation, material dispersion and energy relaxation; accomplished a series of laser-simulation and laser-designing program, which has the calculation function of positive and negative; designed a high-power Ti:Sapphire laser amplifier system, and fulfilled some related experiments about the chirped-pulse-amplification laser. We provide a theoretical basis for the evaluation of laser-performance and the optimization of the laser-designing in the dissertation, which can be used to guide the development of the large-scale and high-quality CPA laser system.
