中文摘要聚焦能力是高功率激光系统关注的主要问题之一,从实际效果来看,好的聚焦能力胜过虽有很高的输出光束能量但由于波前畸变而导致的低强度。因为真正参于与物质相互作用的是焦点,实际聚进焦斑的能量才是直接和峰值功率密度相联系的、真正用于与物质相互作用的有效部分。利用自适应光学技术控制变形镜面形,通过主动补偿波前畸变来提高聚焦能力,追求接近衍射极限的光束质量,是优化和提升强场激光物理物理国家重点实验室的。89PW/29fs激光系统可聚焦功率密度有效而经济的手段。本论文的主要任务是优化和提升拍瓦级激光系统波前质量和焦点功率密度。但如果利用常规波前校正方式,变形镜口径必须大于激光系统出射光束直径。
英文摘要The focused spot is one of key parameters of high-power laser system. In practise, a laser system with high-quality focus is better than a laser system only with high energy but with low focused peak intensity arising from wavefront aberrations. Because focus of laser system indeed is used high field laser-matter interactions. The energy only being focused to focus is the effective energy of laser system.玩order to increase the focused peak intensity of 0.89 PW (pettawatt) laser system, the adaptive optics (AO) closed-loop system is viewed as an effective solution to actively compensate for the wavefront aberrations and obtain a near diffraction-limited focal spot. In classical AO loop, the deformable mirror (DM) is normally located between compressor and parabola, to compensate for the wavefront aberrations of the laser system. Hence it is requested that the aperture of DM must be larger than the the diameter of optical beam. However, for 0.89PW/29fs laser system, the beam size is expanded to 150mm to protect the gratings and optical components in compressor. Hence a DM with larger active aperture than 1 SOmm has to be used in AO loop, which means higher cost. At the same time, the DM with large active aperture is difficult to machine. According to the character of 0.89PW/29fs laser system and our DM, we must bring forward the new correction concept, and design the new correction loop to accomplish the correction assigrunent of PW level laser system.
