中文摘要 | 电光调制技术是连接微波与光子学技术之间的桥梁,电光调制技术的发展是微波光子学迅速发展的支撑和关键推手。随着光电子技术逐渐应用在射频信号传输、高速信号处理以及光网络带宽需求的进一步增加。电光调制技术将在下一代通信网络中起着更加重要的作用。本论文的主要内容就是研究基于电光调制技术的激光光波幅度、频率和相位的高速、高精度控制技术。主要内容包括: 1. 电光调制技术在光控相控阵天线系统中的应用。实现了基于微光学元件堆栈集成技术的差分真时延产生及时延连续可调的时延网络,研制了光控相控阵天线系统工程样机。对样机动态范围、噪声系数及波束指向角等性能进行了实际实验室和微波暗室实验测量。理论分析了噪声系数的主要来源和系统噪声系数等参数优化的方向并应用于系统优化。 2. 基于宽带电光调制的单边带调制技术和注入锁定技术实现了集快速调谐速率、宽调谐范围和窄线宽光波输出于一体的激光频率快速调谐。得到了调谐速率约80THz/ms,调谐带宽超过3.8GHz的无啁啾近线性调谐输出。 3. 电光调制技术在超平坦光学频率梳产生中的应用。提出了采用幅度相等、相位正交的信号平衡驱动方式驱动双平行电光调制器,实现超平坦的5梳和7梳光学频率梳的产生。该光频梳产生技术具有结构简单、稳定及便于调节的特点。此外,该光频梳产生技术相对于双平行电光调制器非平衡驱动方式实现超平坦光频梳的产生具有无频率啁啾的优点。 |
英文摘要 | Electro-optic modulation technology is the bridgeto connect between microwave and photonics. The development of electro-optic modulation technology is the support and a critical driver for the rapid development of microwave photonics.With the gradual application of optoelectronic technology in the transmission of radio frequency signal over fiber and further increased requirements of optical network bandwidth.Electro-optic modulation technology will play a more important role in the next generation communication network.The main content of this thesis is the research on fast-speed, high precision control of lightwave amplitude, frequency and phase by use of electro-optic modulation technology.The main contents include: 1. Electro-optic modulation technology in the application of the optically controlled phased array antenna system.We implement differential true time delay generation based on stack integration technology of micro-optics element, and the realized time delay networkis with adjustable time delays. In addition, we develop the prototype of optically controlled phased array antenna system, and perform measurements on the performance of dynamic range, noise figure and beam pointing angle etc. of the prototype both in laboratory and microwave anechoic chamber. The main source of noise figureof the system is theoretically analyzed, and the optimization direction of the system parameterssuch as noise figureis presented and applied to the system optimization. 2. Fast optical frequency tuning based on single sideband (SSB) modulation technology of broadband electro-optic modulation device and injection locking technology is achieved. This optical frequency tuning system is with both high tuning speed, wide tuning range and narrow line-width laser output. The system achieves laser output with a tuning rate as high as 80 THZ/ms, and tuning range more than 3.8 GHz, which is limited by electronics. 3. The application of electro-optic modulation technology in the generation of the ultra-flat optical frequency comb (OFC) is given either in this thesis.Two signals that with equal amplitudes, orthogonal phases are adopted to balancedly drive the two radio frequency ports of the dual parallel Mach-Zehnder electro-optic modulator, and ultra-flat optical frequency combs are generated.The optical frequency comb generation technologyhas the characteristics of simple structure, stable performance and agile to adjust. In addition, the proposed optical frequency comb generation scheme has the advantages of no frequency chirp in the process of ultra-flat optical frequency comb generation compared to OFC based on unbalanced driven of electro-optic modulator. |
