中文摘要 | 金属离子掺杂的超宽带中红外固体激光器在人眼安全的波段内泵浦和发光;越来越多的应用在气体检测,遥感,通信,眼科医学,神经外科等领域;它常温下工作,工作稳定,操作简单,是很有发展潜力的光学变频器件和空间远程探测系统光源,(2~5μm)可调谐激光器在军用红外对抗、红外干扰、红外预警、红外跟踪、红外成像、红外遥感等方面也具有非常重要的应用前景。 近十年来,对于过渡金属掺杂的超宽带中红外固体激光器的研究已经取得了许多令人瞩目的成果:在Cr2+:ZnSe中,目前已经获得了最大2.7W的连续输出功率,18.5W的平均脉冲功率,1100nm的调谐范围和最窄4 ps的脉宽。对于Cr2+:ZnSe,Cr2+:ZnS和Cr2+:ZnSSe薄片激光器、随机纳米激光器的研究也获得了很好的结果。 本论文采用多晶和陶瓷Cr2+:ZnSe晶体作为激光增益材料,使用Tm3+离子掺杂的光纤激光器作为泵浦源,构造准薄片式激光器结构,在多晶Cr2+:ZnSe中获得了目前国内报道的最大1.034W的连续激光输出,峰值波长为2.367μm,斜率效率13.9%,并创新性的利用角度调谐的方法,在Cr2+:ZnSe中获得~100nm范围内的波长调谐输出。 论文还进行了部分Tm:YAP激光器的工作。对b向和c向掺杂Tm3+离子的YAP晶体的激光性能进行了比较。利用Tm:YAP晶体搭建激光器,得到最大输出功率210mW。使用Tm:YAP激光器替代Tm3+离子掺杂的光纤激光器,泵浦Cr2+:ZnSe,Tm3+:YAP激光器的输出波长~1.98μm较Tm3+离子掺杂的光纤激光器(~2.05μm)更接近于Cr2+:ZnSe的吸收峰(1.78μm),从而可以有效的提高激光器效率。 |
英文摘要 | Ultra broad band infrared transition metal ion-doped solid-state lasers, pumped and lasering in the range of eye security, are increasingly being used in trace gas monitoring, remote sensing, telecommunications, ophthalmology, and neurosurgery. Operating at room temperature, they are stable, easy to handle, and becoming the critical components in optical frequency standards, space-based remote sensing systems, 2~5μm tunable lasers have great future of application in infrared confronting, disturbing, pre-warning, tracing, imaging, and remote sensing for military use. In the last decade, remarkable progress has been achieved in ultra broad band infrared transition metal ion-doped solid-state lasers: for Cr2+ ion-doped zinc chalcogenides lasers, to date, CW output power of almost 2.7 W, average pulse output power of 18.5 W, broad tunability of 1100 nm and pulse duration of 4 ps have been demonstrated. Good results have been achieved also in Cr2+:ZnSe, Cr2+:ZnS, Cr2+:ZnSSe disk lasers and random nanolasers. In this research, Cr2+:ZnSe poly-crystal and ceramic were used as the laser material, Tm3+ ion-doped fiber laser as the pump source, and a disk laser setup had been built. In Cr2+:ZnSe poly-crystal laser, maximum average output power of 1.034W in peak wavelength of 2.367μm was demonstrated, which is the highest in domestic data, with a slope efficiency of 13.9%. Using angle tuning method, Cr2+:ZnSe lasered in a tunable range of 100nm. Relative work of Tm:YAP laser had also been carried out in this research. Laser properties of b and c directionally Tm3+ ion-doped YAP was compared. Maximum output power of 210mW in CW mode had been demonstrated in c directionally doped Tm:YAP crystal.The peak wavelength of Tm:YAP is 1.98μm, which is nearer the absorption peak(1.78μm) than that of fiber laser(2.05μm). Replacing the Tm3+ ion-doped fiber laser by Tm:YAP laser, the optical to optical efficiency of Cr2+:ZnSe laser will be improved effectively. |
