稀土氧化物及硫氧化物颗粒制备及发光性能研究

中文摘要 | 稀土氧化物及硫氧化物具有良好的物理和化学性能,是优秀的发光基质材料。而稀土掺杂的稀土氧化物及硫氧化物颗粒,尤其是纳米颗粒,在制备透明发光陶瓷和高分辨率荧光粉方面有着广阔的应用和良好的效果。以往的制备方法存在着不同程度的缺陷,使得粉末的性能或制备的效率受到影响,而一些掺杂离子在基质中的性能也没有得到全面表征。本文的主要工作一方面为通过已有制备方法,研究Yb离子在硫代氧化物中的光谱性能,另一方面为探索稀土氧化物纳米颗粒的新型合成方法,两方面结合,在制备方法和发光性能方面建立新的认识。具体包括: 1、 稀土离子发光及上转换发光机理回顾及基质材料性质介绍; 2、 实验数据采集方法介绍; 3、 掺镱硫氧化钇制备工艺研究及光谱性能表征:细致研究了固相反应制备Yb:Y2O2S粉体的过程的条件。首次提供了Yb3+离子在Y2O2S基质中的光谱数据,分析并解释了镧系稀土掺杂离子在Y2O2S晶格中所受到的晶场作用大于在La2O2S晶格中所受到的晶场作用的可能原因。通过电子云膨胀效应解释了稀土离子在Y2O2S晶格中能级中心相对于YAG晶格中能级中心的移动。分析了Yb:YAG和Yb:Y2O2S中上转换光谱的来源和机制,结合杂质浓度解释了Yb:Y2O2S中出现的上转换发光饱和现象以及Yb:Y2O2S中上转换强度较Yb:YAG高的原因。 4、 纳米氧化钇荧光粉制备新方法探索及光谱性能研究:提出了制作稀土氧化物纳米颗粒的两种全新技术方案;与过去的合成方法比,这两种方法设备简单,原料廉价易得,制备周期短,整个合成过程节能,且合成的进度和产物的量及颗粒尺寸均可控。其中一种方法可以直接合成球形纳米颗粒。这种形貌的纳米颗粒直接作为发光粉或用于先进陶瓷的烧结都有很大的优势。 |
英文摘要 | Rare earth oxides and oxysulfides are excellent host materials with good physical and chemical properties for phorsphors. Rare earth doped rare earth oxide and oxysulfide particles, especially nano crystals, have wide application and good performance in the fabrication of transparent ceramics and high-resolution phorsphors. Different defects lie in synthesis methods of these host materials and negatively affect on properties of products and efficiency of production. At the same time, luminescent properties of some dopants in these hosts have not been completely investigated. The work of this paper have two main aspects: one is focusing on the optical properties of Yb ions in Y2O2S hosts prepared by traditional method, and the other one is focusing on the discovery of novel preparation methods of nano rare earth nano crystals. New understandings are established on the combination of these two aspects. Details include: 1. review on luminescent and upconversion mechanisms of rare-earth ions and introduction of related material properties; 2. explanation on the data collection and testing methods; 3. research on the preparation and of luminescent properties of Yb:Y2O2S: study the conditions of preparing Yb:Y2O2S through solid-state reaction. For the first time, we provide the spectrum data of Yb3+ ions in Y2O2S hosts and analyse and explain the difference of energy-gravity-center of rare-earth ions within Y2O2S and YAG hosts. In addition, we analyse the origin and mechanism of unconversion of Yb:YAG and Yb:Y2O2S and explain the upconversion-saturation phenomena of Yb:Y2O2S and the reason of the stronger upconversion of Yb:Y2O2S than Yb:YAG. 4. researches on the preparation and luminescent properties of nano yttria: design two novel methods for preparing nano rare earth oxides. When compared with old methods, these two new methods require simpler equipments, cheaper raw materials, shorter production-cycle and less energy. The progress and particle size are controllable and one of these two methods can synthesize spherical nano crystals directly. Particles with this kind of morphorlogy have great advantage on the application as phorsphors and raw material for sintering advanced ceramics.
