中文摘要DPSSL以其独特的优点已经成为固体激光器发展的主流方向,具有巨大的应用前景,已获得越来越广泛的应用。论文主要对DPSSL的一些关键技术进行了研究,包括:①瓦级半导体激光器光束整形;②一种单个LD侧泵的固体激光器;③三镜折叠腔全固化倍频绿光激光器。半导体激光器输出光束质量很差,在快慢两个方向上的光束质量相差很大,所以在DPSSL端面泵浦中必须对半导体激光器进行光束整形,改善其光束质量。论文在已有专利的微片棱镜堆线光束整形器的基础上,进一步提出了一种在远场区域对光束发散角进行分割和重新排列的瓦级半导体激光器光束整形方案,已申请一项实用新型专利。对该方案进行了理论分析和实验参数设计,理论分析表明这种方案有利于提高整形质量。对于DPSSL,泵浦越均匀,越容易实现TEM_(00)模激光输出。所以在侧面泵浦结构中,力求对激光介质进行均匀泵浦,提高光束质量;对泵浦光的泵浦祸合结构即聚光腔也要精心设计,以求产生良好的藕合效率,提高光光转换效率。论文采用一种已获美国专利的LD侧面泵浦固体激光器新结构,将一个LD的输出光分成四部分,从四面对称祸合到激光棒介质中,从而实现比较均匀的泵浦。本文模拟计算了这种泵浦结构中激光棒介质对侧面泵浦光的吸收过程,得到了激光棒介质的吸收系数和直径等参量对介质内泵浦光能量分布均匀性的影响。论文还从理论上分析计算了影响这种直角反射镜聚光腔泵浦结构藕合效率的最主要因素:激光棒与直角反射镜腔的相对位置;直角反射镜表面反射率。并在此基础上刘相关参量进行了优化研究,采用这种聚光腔进行实验,初步实验结果良好。已在《光学学报》发表文章。文章介绍了两种腔型结构不同的Nd:YVO_4/KTP全固化倍频绿光激光器,在对腔结构参数进行优化计算的基础上,对这两种腔的输出和稳定性等特性进行了比较和深入分析,实验结果说明,折叠腔结构对提高绿光的转换效率和输出稳定性都有明显的作用,温度控制对于绿光激光器的稳定性也有很明显的作用。在此基础上提出了一些改进措施,其中的折叠腔方案得到了800mW的绿光输出,所制成的激光器已进入产品化阶段,实验结果已有文章发表。本论文中的创新点主要有:1、提出了一种针对瓦级半导体激光器光束进行远场分割重新排列的整形方案;2、用计算机模拟计算了一种采用直角反射镜实现均匀泵浦的侧面泵浦固体激光器方案并指导实验参数设计,获得了较好的实验结果。3、对两种腔型结构全固化倍频绿光激光器进行了实验研究,所积累的实验数据和结果具有参考价值。
英文摘要Diode pumped solid-state laser(DPSSL) has become the main trend of solid-state lasers by its special advantages and broad prospects, and is achieving more and more extensive applications. This paper studies mainly the key techniques of DPSSL, including: 1) beam shaping of diode lasers in several waits; 2) a geometry of solid state lasers symmetrically side-pumped by a single LDA; 3) frequency doubling DPSSL with three-mirror folded cavity. The beam quality of diode laser is very poor, it is quite different in its "fast" and "slow" directions. On base of a patent of beam shaping using micro-prism stack, a new project of beam shaping of diode laser in several waits output is put forward. The project is analyzed theoretically and the parameters are designed. Analysis shows that it's beneficial to the improving of shaping quality. In DPSSL, the more the pumping is even-distributed, the more the TEMoo mode is easy to gain. So, even pumping is very important in side-pump construction. The coupling construction of the pump light, so called focusing chamber, is essential for improving optical-optical efficiency. In our experiment, a new pumping configuration of DPSSL from an U.S. patent is used. The configuration divides the emission of a single LDA into four equal portions and provides an all sides symmetric pumping of a rod medium. In the paper a ray-tracing simulation of the pumping beam absorbed in the rod medium is made, and the effects of the absorption coefficient and rod diameter of the laser medium on the uniformity of the energy distribution are calculated. Factors affecting the coupling efficiency of such a cavity using a right-angle reflector are also theoretically analyzed and calculated including the relative position between the rod medium and the right-angle reflector and the reflectivity of the right-angle reflector. An optimization of proper parameters is made. We have made an experiment and analyzed the results. Nd:YV0_4/KTP all-solid-state frequency doubling laser with two kinds of cavity structures are introduced, and their parameters are optimized by calculation. On the same experiment conditions, their output and stability are compared and analyzed. The experiment results show that the folded cavity and temperature control can both improve the efficiency and stability of green laser. Some better techniques are put forward. 800mW green light output has been got, and this folded cavity laser has become a kind of product. There are three primary innovations in this paper: 1. A new kind of project for beam shaping of diode laser with several waits output. It improves the quality of beam shaping of wait-level diode lasers. Simulate calculation of a side-pumped solid-state laser project using a right-angle reflector to realize even pump by a single LDA. A real laser is designed and fairly good results have been gained in the experiment. 2. On the same experiment conditions, Nd:YV0_4/KTP all-solid-state frequency doubling laser with two kinds of cavity structure are researched. The experimental data and results are worth referring.
