立方反射负支环形非稳腔的研究

中文摘要 | 随着激光技术的不断发展,高功率激光器在工业加工及国防领域得到重要的应用。军事上运用的激光武器倾向于同时具备存储能量密度大,体积小及重量轻等特点,有利于机载、车载,方便军事战斗,但是普通激光器仍然无法减缓外界振动的影响,容易导致激光系统出现失调状态,并且,为了使各光学元件能够保持良好共轴性以及获得较高的输出光束质量,就必须不断地调整谐振腔,这样会延长停滞时间。因此,要获得大功率高输出光束质量的激光光束,就必须改变谐振腔结构,使其能有效地消除各种干扰。论文中针对超音速氧碘化学激光器的流动工作介质具有分布不均匀特点,通过对非稳腔进行理论分析,综合地介绍了几种常用的高功率激光器谐振腔腔型,并分析了各种不同类型的腔型的利弊,然后针对性地提出了具有低失调灵敏度的立方反射负支环形非稳腔。首先,用矩阵光学理论分析立方反射负支环形非稳腔的几何特性,推导出此腔型的衍射积分方程和等效菲涅耳数Neq的表达式,并对此腔型在空腔以及存在腔镜倾斜、波象差和非均匀增益影响等情况下的输出特性进行数值模拟和分析,对比常规非稳腔和立方反射负支环形非稳腔的近场光强和相位分布,结果证明常规环形非稳腔受上述情况的影响很大,导致光束质量下降;而立方负支环形非稳腔对腔镜失调和非对称性增益不均匀情况下的光场具有很强的均匀化能力,但是无法改善对‘轴对称性的象差对光束的干扰。立方反射镜作为此腔型的一个光学元件,在改善输出光束质量上起着非常重要的作用。论文第三章中,利用矩阵运算证明理想立方反射镜整体微量旋转时对出射光造成的影响可以忽略,并给出了反射矩阵;当光线斜入射到非理想情况下的立方反射时,利用坐标变换方法计算了出射光偏转角与镜面倾斜偏差角的关系式;通过介绍立方反射镜的制作、调整以及偏差角的测量方法,为立方反射镜的研究提供借鉴。通过采用大白径铜蒸气激光器实验研究在放大率M=1.25的立方反射负支环形非稳腔的输出特性,利用CCD数据处理系统采集远场光斑,对图样进行处理分析,获得远场发散角,实验证明立方反射负支环形非稳腔在系统放大率较小时仍然能获得良好的输出光束质量。 |
英文摘要 | With the development of laser technology, high power lasers have been used in industrial process and national defense. Laser weapons developed in military tend to be provided with high storage energy、small size and light weight, which make for mobile-transport and air-borne and help in battles. But traditional resonator is sensitive to the misalignment caused by vibration and shock; on the other hand, in order to maintain all the optical elements on axis and obtain high output beam quality, the resonator re-aligning will takes quite a long time. Therefore, to obtain high power and high beam quality laser beam ,the geometry of resonator should be changed to eliminate the effects . In this thesis ,by considering the supersonic Chemical Oxide Iodine Laser (COIL) with non-unifying flowing gain media, introducing synthetically several familiar high power laser resonators and analyzing their advantages and disadvantages, Negative Branch Ring Unstable Resonator with a Corner Cube Reflector (CCRNBRUR) is presented .This resonator possesses lower misalignment sensitivity. First, the geometrical properties of CCRNBRUR have been analyzed theoretically. The diffraction integral equation and the formula of equivalent number Neq of this resonator are derived by using matrix method. The effects of tilted mirrors, astigmatism and non-unifying gain media on the near field intensity, phase and far filed intensity distribution of are simulated numerically and analyzed for CCRNBRUR and traditional unstable resonator respectively. In comparison with traditional unstable resonator, CCRNBRUR have strong ability to unify the field affected by misaligned mirror and non-unifying gain media, but can not reduce the effect of the symmetrical astigmatism. As one of optical components, Corner Cube Reflector (CCR) is playing a very important role in improving the output beam quality. In the third section, the effects on the emerging beam caused by slight rotation of corner cube reflector as a whole can be neglected , the reflection matrix is presented; by using matrix transform method the relationship between the errors and tilt angles is evaluated in view of the tilted incident beam on non-ideal CCR; The introduction of makingn alignment and testing errors in this paper provides the references for the study of CCR. Cu vapor laser with large radius is used to investigate the output properties of CCRNBRUR experimentally with amplification factor M=1.25, the far field beam has been recorded by CCd and analyzed by computer to obtain the far field divergent angle. The result proves that this resonator with smaller amplification factor derives good output beam quality. |
