中文摘要高重频窄脉宽的全固态紫外激光器在医疗、科研及微加工等领域具有广阔的应用前景和发展空间。与传统紫外激光器相比,通过非线性频率变换技术获得的全固态紫外激光器有结构简单、高效率、小体积等优点。本论文正是围绕kHz电光调Q全固态紫外激光器这一课题,进行了较为细致的研究。 1. 概述了LD泵浦固体激光器的发展历程,总结了国内外紫外固体激光器的研究进展。 2. 仔细分析调Q速率方程,并按照Degnan的优化理论研究了高重复率下的调Q特性,理论上指导了kHz的电光调Q实验。 3. 在分析激光晶体热效应的基础上,选择合适的泵浦方式,根据动态热稳腔的设计方法,设计出了平凸非稳腔的谐振腔结构,有效的补偿了激光晶体的热透镜效应。在此基础上实验研究了kHz的电光调Q 1064nm基频光的输出特性。 4. 理论分析了激光倍频、混频的产生过程,从中得出影响倍频转换效率的主要因素。在此基础上开展了kHz电光调Q 355nm紫外激光的实验,通过腔外直接KTP倍频,采用角度解调谐的三倍频相位匹配方案,再通过II类BBO混频产生355nm的紫外激光。 5. 分析三倍频转换效率低的主要因素,并继续开展实验研究。
英文摘要High repetition and short pulse duration solid-state ultraviolet lasers are promising and compellent in many applications such as medical treatment, scientific research and industrial micro-machining etc. Comparing with traditional ultraviolet lasers, UV lasers based on nonlinear optical frequency conversion technology have some advantage of simple structure, high efficiency and small volume. In this paper, the experimental researches on kHz Electro-Optic Q-switched all-solid-state ultraviolet lasers are presented. 1. The development process of all-solid-state lasers is reviewed firstly. Then the domestic and abroad research evolution on solid-state ultraviolet lasers has been summarized. 2. The Q-switched rate equation theory has been studied carefully. Based on Degnan’s optimization of Q-switched lasers, we study the Q-switch characteristic with high repetition which is the guidance of our experimental research on kHz EO Q-switch. 3. With the detailed study on thermal effects of laser crystal, we select appropriate pumped structure and design a plano-convex cavity using dynamical thermal insensitivity cavity design method. The thermal effect has been compensated well. Then we perform the experiment on kHz electro-optic Q-switched 1064nm lasers. 4. After introducing the theory of double-frequency and sum-frequency, we obtain the key factor affecting the frequency transfer efficiency. Then we carry on the experiment of kHz EO Q-switch 355nm lasers. We use type-II phase match SHG KTP crystal to generate 532nm green laser, then use type-II phase match THG BBO crystal to generate 355nm ultraviolet laser by angle-detuning phase match structure. 5. At the last of this paper, we discuss the causes of low THG efficiency, and continue to carry on the experiments.
