中文摘要光学薄膜元件是激光系统的重要组成部分,随着激光器输出能量的不断提高,对光学薄膜的抗激光损伤能力提出了越来越高的要求,激光预处理是提高基频反射膜抗激光损伤能力的最为有效方法之一。激光预处理技术为有损处理,在其过程中会对样品造成一定程度的损伤破坏,等离子体烧蚀是基频反射膜激光预处理中最为典型的损伤形貌。等离子体烧蚀形成后对薄膜元件光学特性影响有限,并且在后续脉冲作用下较为稳定,实际应用中光学元件表面允许一定程度的等离子体烧蚀存在,但等离子体烧蚀会对经过基频反射膜表面的传输光束产生一定程度的调制。因此,研究烧蚀对传输光束的调制影响对于制定激光预处理工艺与指标、评价激光预处理成功与否以及激光预处理元件的合理充分使用都有一定的参考价值与实际意义。 搭建了测试传输光束质量的实验平台,测试了不同光斑尺寸、不同传输距离及远场等条件下烧蚀对传输光束质量的改变,从实验上得到经烧蚀调制的传输光束与未经调制光束之间的峰值对比度及偏离度随传输距离的变化规律,并研究了光斑尺寸对光束调制效果的影响,以及多烧蚀斑对光束的共同调制效果。 结合等离子体烧蚀的三维形貌特征,基于菲涅尔衍射的物理思想,建立了烧蚀对传输光束影响的计算模型,并采用傅里叶变换手段,对烧蚀引起光束调制的过程进行模拟计算;理论计算结果与实验相吻合,在此基础上,计算总结了烧蚀斑尺寸、烧蚀占比、传输距离等因素对经烧蚀调制光束与未经调制光束之间的RMS值的影响规律。
英文摘要Optical coatings is an important component of high power laser systems. With the power of laser increasing rapidly, laser-induced damage threshold(LIDT) of optical coatings is urgent supposed to be improved. Laser conditioning is one of the most effective methods to improve laser damage resistance of optics, during which some benign damage will be created, and for high reflective thin film plasma scalds is one of the typical damage morphologies. In practice plasma scalds, which effect the function of optics slightly, are permited to exist in certain degree. However, plasma scalds could modulate transmission laser beam. So study of how plasma scalds modulate transmission laser is quite significant for laser conditioning. The laser beam quality testing system is built, and with which the laser beam modulation induced by plasma scalds is tested with different beam size and in different propagation distance. Based on the experimental data, the relationship between laser beam modulation and propagation distance is studied. Also the influence of beam size and multi-plasma scalds are discussed. Based on 3D-morphology of plasma scalds and Finel diffraction, the calculated model is founded, and process of plasma scalds modulating transmission laser is simulated. The results accordant to the experiment are got. Facts of plasma scalds size, proportion and propagation distance which will influence the transmission laser RMS are simulated separatedly also.
