| 英文摘要 | Animal toxins are secreted by venom apparatus of venomous animals and contain a group of proteins and peptides with diverse structures and functions. With potent activity, high selectivity and rich structural diversity, animal toxins become important resources for new drug development. In this paper, the features of animal toxin-derived drugs as well as advances in research on drugs in clinical studies and candidate molecules were reviewed. At the same time, important issues on the research and development of animal toxin-derived drugs in China were also discussed. |
