BaTiO3/Graphite Oxide-Epoxy Resin Composites with Enhanced Permittivity and Suppressed Dielectric Loss

英文摘要BaTiO3/graphite oxide-epoxy (BT/GO-EP) composites were prepared through ball-milling process. The microstructure of the composites showed that the BaTiO3 nanoparticles were inserted into the graphite oxide layers homogeneously. The electrical properties of graphite oxide-epoxy (GO-EP) and BT/GO-EP composites were investigated based on the dielectric spectrum and ac electrical conductivity. The results showed that the permittivity of GO-EP composite loaded with 3.4% weight percent GO was improved by 256% compared with that of the pure epoxy. The permittivity and electrical breakdown strength were further improved for the BT/GO-EP composites with BaTiO3 nanoparticles inserted in the GO sheets. The mechanisms for these results were discussed. Moreover, the dielectric loss of BT/GO-EP remains at a low level because of the low conductivity of the composites. It is believed that the enhanced dielectric performance should be attributed to the periodical arrangement of BaTiO3/graphite oxide fillers in the composites.
