英文摘要This paper describes the research and design of GPS receiver terminal equipment based on F 2 MC-8FX microcontroller and MOTOROLA M12 GPS receiver. The GPS navigational information is displayed by FYD12864- 0402B LCD display module. It is described that the basic structure and working principle of F 2 MC-8FX family of microcontrollers, MOTOROLA M12 receiver and FYD12864- 0402B LCD module. A detailed description of theory and design for the serial communication interface circuit between the F2MC-8FX microcontroller and a GPS receiver, and the LCD interface circuit are mentioned in this paper. The programs include the initialization program of F 2 MC-8FX microcontroller and LCD display module, and the communication program that sends control command Character and receives GPS navigational information, as well as LCD display program of GPS navigational information. F 2 MC-8FX microcontroller sends control command Characters to the GPS receiver, reads and processes the received GPS information, and outputs to the LCD display module, the entire system debugging and running well, accurately and stably displaying latitude, longitude, altitude, heading and other information.
