英文摘要 | Particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm is a recently developed swarm intelligent optimization technology. It is originated from the artificial life and evolutionary theory, where the optimization is achieved via particle seeking its optimal solution and global optimal solution simultaneously. The algorithm is easily to be implemented with less adjusting parameters and has been applied broadly in various fields. In the paper, the basic principle of the PSO algorithm is briefly introduced and detailed applications of PSO in power system are discussed, such as power grid planning, maintenance, short-term power generation, unit combination, load frequency control, optimal power flow, reactive power optimization, harmonic analysis and capacitor configuration, parameter identification. Examples in each applied directions are also provided. |
