英文摘要This paper investigates a practical implementation of a relay feedback based PID auto-tuning method for CNC servo motor. Firstly, the hardware architecture ofthe CNC system is introduced and experimental process is presented. And then the critical point information is obtained from steady oscillations of encoder output by Ziegler-Nichols tuning rules. Finally, control experiments that based on default PID parameters and auto-tune PID parameters have been conducted and the results show that system performances, such as velocity responses and position following error have been much improved.
