英文摘要 | In this talk, we develop a parallel method for identifying the time-dependent diffusive coefficient in the diffusion equation. By formulating the inverse problem into a PDE-constrained optimization problem, we use a fully implicit, mixed FE/FD discretization scheme for its nonlinear KKT system. To achieve high degree of parallelization on current high performance computers, we extend the classical Schwarz preconditioner into a space-time Schwarz preconditioner, domain decomposition is performed in the space-time coupled domain. Combined with the proposed pre-conditioner, we use a Newton-Krylov-Space-time-Schwarz method to solve the fully coupled system all at once. Numerical experiments show that our algorithm is efficient in identifying the diffusive coefficient, and scalable with respect to more than 1,000 processors. |
