英文摘要 | Pulmonary bronchus visualization and tumor detection technology can be used for the lung cancer diagnosis. Fresh air is brought into the alveolus withpulmonary bronchus, and transported into vessels. Pulmonary bronchus facilitates the human body metabolism and its structure can be viewed with medicalradiological imaging. In this paper, the lung area is isolated in the CT volume with the mixture of Gaussian method. Pulmonary bronchus structure is visualizedwith both volume rendering and marching cube surface reconstruction. Tumors are hard to be detected in the CT image slice because of the similarity in intensity and size compared with the bronchus cross section. We present a 3D surface detail view of the pulmonary bronchus, in which the tumor can be easily identified by its shape difference from the airway tree structure. |
