英文摘要 | The energy consumption issue has become one of the main challenges for Wireless Body Area Networks (WBANs). As one of the potential techniques to save energy, transmission power control (TPC) can be used to adjust adaptively the transmission power. In this paper, based on PID (ProportionalIntegral-Derivative) controller, we present a dynamic TPC assignment mechanism to enhance energy efficiency and link reliability. Perfonnance evaluation has been made with an open-access dataset of channel measurements, among which, different body postures (i.e., walking and running) are considered. From the simulation results, it is shown that our presented TPC algorithm performs better, compared to the referenced algorithm. |
