英文摘要 | The accurate diagnosis of vulnerable plaque depends on the identification of key morphological and functional features. However, current clinical intravascular imaging, IVUS and IVOCT are mainly capable of detecting morphological features. While the novel intravascular photoacoustic (IVPA) imaging is capable of providing functional information. Hence, it is of clinical interests to integrating these modalities that can characterize all key features. In this study, for the first time to our knowledge, an IVPA/IVUS/OCT imaging system with a 0.9-mm diameter catheter is developed. We validated the system by imaging lipid tissues and stents, which demonstrated the potential of acquiring plaque structural and functional information simultaneously. |
