Preparation of NiSe2/TiO2 nanocomposite for photocathodic protection of stainless steel

英文摘要 | NiSe2 nanoparticles are used to modify highly-ordered TiO2 nanotube film as photoanode, and its photocathodic protection performance for 304 stainless steel is investigated. TiO2 nanotube film on Ti foil is fabricated via the anodic oxidation, and the deposited NiSe2 on its surface is prepared by electrochemical deposition with different cyclic voltammetry cycles. Compared to pure TiO2, NiSe2/TiO2 nanocomposites exhibits increasing photoelectro-response activity and photocathodic protection performance for 304 stainless steel under visible light illumination. The photocathodic protection property of NiSe2/TiO2 is affected by the amount of deposited NiSe2 on TiO2 nanotubes film, and the specimen with 2-cycle deposition exhibits an optimal photocathodic protection property. |
