| 中文摘要 | 白矮星是小质量与中等质量恒星演化的最终产物．在与自矮星有关的研究中，白矮星的质量是～个很重要的物理参数．对斯隆数字巡天（SDSS）中的DA白矮星样本进行了详细的、与速度分布相关的研究，希望从中寻找到速度分布与其质量的联系．根据白矮星的自行和光谱移动确定了每颗白矮星的切向速度和视向速度．白矮星速度随其质量的分布图支持单星演化形成的白矮星的质量越小其弥散速度就越大的结论． |
| 英文摘要 | White dwarfs are the evolutionary endpoint of the low- and medium-mass stars. The masses of white dwarfs are often discussed. In this paper, we give an analysis about the velocity distribution of DA white dwarfs in the Sloan Digital Sky Survey （SDSS）, and hope to find the relation between mass and velocity distribution of white dwarfs. We get the radial velocity and tangential velocity of every DA white dwarf through their proper motion and spectral shift. Through analyzing the velocity distributions of DA white dwarfs, we find that the small mass white dwarfs, which are produced from a single-star channel, have a relative large velocity dispersion. |
