A facile and efficient method of silver-catalyzed phosphonylation of unprotected propargylic alcohols with P(O)H compounds has been established, in which a wide variety of allenylphosphine oxides were obtained in moderate to excellent yields. This transformation could be conducted under mild reaction conditions without a ligand, base, and additive.
