简介 : 中国科学院地球环境研究所(Institute of Earth Environment, Chinese Academy of Sciences)的前身是1985年建立的中国科学院西安黄土与第四纪地质研究室,于1999年经国务院中编办和中国科学院批准成立,并整体进入中国科学院知识创新工程试点。研究所从以黄土和东亚季风变迁为主的研究,发展为以大陆环境为特色的多元化综合研究,在“东亚环境变迁的季风控制论”、“亚洲季风-干旱环境演化与青藏高原隆升”、“气候突变事件”、“宇宙成因核素环境示踪”、“树轮气候学”、“粉尘与黑碳”、“同位素地球化学”、“古气候模拟”等国际地学前沿领域取得了一系列的研究成果。
