英文摘要This study presents a new methodology for risk forecast and assessment of grassland fire disaster based on support vector machine (SVM). Take Xinlinguole as an example, the hazard of grassland fire, the exposure of the region, the vulnerability and emergency response and recovery capability for grassland fire disaster are developed to as assessing indicators, and the SVM model is designed for different period in Xilingol League. Then, Grassland Fire Disaster Risk Index (GFDRI) as output is predicted, and then Xilingol League is regionalized using GIS. It is shown that the grassland fire disaster forecast model based on SVM has good assessing ability and supports local and national government agencies for grassland fire disaster management and prevention.
