一种多媒体内容制作发布系统的设计与实现

中文摘要随着计算机处理能力地提高和宽带网络的普及,网络多媒体应用得到了快速的增长,越来越多的人有机会融入到信息社会当中来。形式多样、内容丰富的文化娱乐、教育培训等信息服务方式己经被人们所接受和重视。随着嵌入式技术的不断发展,支持嵌入式终端的网络多媒体应用逐渐成为主流,然而现行的多媒体制作分发管理系统普遍存在着管理不便,播放质量差,信息含量少且传播针对性差,已经不能适应这类信息传播的特殊要求。 本论文针对网络多媒体系统的服务器端存在的问题,结合了实际情况,设计和实现了一种以嵌入式机顶盒为终端的多媒体文件制作分发管理系统。主要工作有: 1.为了解决多媒体文件管理不便,检索效率低下的问题,本文设计并实现了一种基于DC(Dublin Core)的多媒体文件元数据化处理方案,该方案将非规则化的多媒体文件存放于指定的计算机磁盘目录下,而在数据库中只存储相关的元数据信息,这样一方面可以有序地存储数据,便于数据的检索和查找;另一方面由于将元数据存放在文件系统中,数据的浏览、修改、更新都比较方便。 2. 针对现有系统节目制作方式呆板,对多屏幕播放支持不够,资源的复用性差等问题,本文通过引入SMIL这一多媒体同步语言,实现了节目的分屏播放;为了提高资源的复用性,本文通过建立了一套可以描述多媒体同步播放关系的模型体系,实现了多媒体同步播放关系到关系数据库的映射,从而可以将已有节目以模板的方式保存在数据库中,便于再次利用;为了提高系统的兼容性,本系统还将节目的制作过程与SMIL文件的生成过程相分离,数据库中保存的模板信息与SMIL语言无关,从而为兼容其它多媒体同步语言提供了条件。 3. 针对目前多媒体内容分发方式成本高,算法复杂的缺点,本文采用了一种远程管理系统集中控制,本地播放终端内部进行树形互传的分发方案,该方案不但可以最大限度的利用公网带宽,提高了分发效率,而且无需增加额外成本。
英文摘要As the development of computer processing capability and the popularity of the broadband network, internet multimedia has been improved a lot and more people get the chance to be involved into the information society. Diversified formed and with abundant content, the information service of entertainment and education has been accepted by people. Meanwhile, as the embedded technology develops, internet multimedia application which is in support of imbedded terminal is becoming the mainstream. However, problems such as inconvenient management, low play quality, inadequate information and low transmission pertinence are common in the existing media production and distribution management system, which can not meet the special demand of this kind of information transmission. In accordance with the existing problems and practical situation, this paper proposes a media production and distribution management system with a embedded set-top box as terminal, as listed below: In order to solve the inconvenient management of multimedia files and to improve the efficiency of information retrieval, this paper designs and implements a calculation system of processing multimedia file metadata based on DC. This system stores irregular multimedia files into designated disk directory, and only store the metadata in the database. With this system, on one hand it can store data orderly which makes data retrieval easier; on the other hand, due to the metadata storing in file system, it’s more convenient to browse, edit and update data. In accordance with the problems like inadequate support to multi-screen play and low reusability to resources, this paper introduces SMIL, and realizes programs multi-screen play; in order to improve the reusability of resources, this paper realizes the mapping from multimedia synchronous playing to related databases through setting up a model system which can describe the multimedia synchronous playing relationships; in order to improve the system compatibility, this system separate the production process of the program and the SMIL files, which means, the template information stored in the database is unrelated to the SMIL, and this provides conditions for compatibleness of other languages. In view of the high cost of multimedia contents distribution and the complicated algorithm, this paper introduces a centralized remote control management system, by using the tree-form mutual infection within the local play terminal. This system can not only take the best use of the bandwidth of the public network, it also improves the distribution efficiency, and what’s more, it does not need any extra cost.
