英文摘要Dabie Orogen was the source area of the Jurassic sediments in the Hefei Basin. Therefore, the history of geological evolution of the orogen can be traced, and the paleogeography be reconstructed from sedimentary record in this basin. For the oldest Mesozoic sediments at the bottom of the Fanghushan Formation (J(1)), major source area was composed of the rocks of early Paleozoic and Luliang ages (1700 similar to 1900 Ma) from the North China Block. In contrast, the Dabie Orogen, as the source area of the mid- late Early Jurassic to Late Jurassic sediments, was mainly composed of the exhumed material of the subducted Yangtze Block. From the composition of detrital phengites, and particularly the Triassic detrital zircons which contain UHP mineral inclusions in the Fanghushan Formation, it is evident that the first exposure of the UHP metamorphic rocks at the Earth surface in the Dabie Shan occurred in the Early Jurassic. HP- UHP rocks were widely distributed in the east- central part of Dabie Shan, and they disappeared towards the west part during the Middle- Late Jurassic. Compositional feature of the trace elements strongly indicates that the Carboniferous sedimentary rocks in the northern margin of the Dabie Shan should be derived from an eroded continental island arc. Age structure for the detrital zircons from these rocks is characteristic of the Qinling and Erlangping groups with ages of 400 similar to 480 Ma. Evidently, the Carboniferous sediments in the northern margin of the Dabie Shan were mainly derived from same rocks as the Qinling and Erlangping groups in the southern margin of the North China Block, and the source area experienced similar tectonic evolution of island arc setting as the Qinling Orogen. Detrital phengites of high Si contents occurred in the Late Carboniferous sediments in the northern margin of the Dabie Shan, indicating HP- UHP metamorphic rocks were possibly exposed to the source area.
