| 英文摘要 | Large old landslides are common in the Three Gorges area. Baota landslide, a large rockslide, is one of the largest landslides in the Three Gorges area. In the landslide body there are two terraces to be recognized. The two terrace deposits is not a two-grade terrace, but mainly remnants left by an occurrence of Baota landslide. Optically stimulated luminescence (OSL) dating suggests that the age of the terrace deposits is 38-32 kyr BP. The OSL ages along with other Thermoluminescence (TL) and Radiocarbon (C-14) ages support the conclusion that the Baota landslide was originally triggered by strong precipitation occurred in a warm climate period of 30,000-40,000 years BP. |
