英文摘要Basement rocks at Bayan Obo, Inner Mongolia are composed of Neoarchean mylonitic granite-gneiss (2588 +/- 15Ma), Paleoproterozoic syenite and granodiorite (2018 +/- 15Ma), and biotite granite-gneiss & garnet-bearing granite-gneiss (similar to 1890Ma). Giant Bayan Obo REE deposit is just located in the Archean North China craton. The collision orogeny movement of north margin of North China craton between 2. 0Ga and 1.9Ga brought the swarm of diorite-granodiotite magma and intense regional peak metamorphism event.
