英文摘要Both the Antarctic Zhongshan station and the Davis station (L-14) are located around the cusp region at local magnetic noon. Two induction magnetometers have been installed respectively at the two stations. We use the cross-spectral technique to analyze the data of the two induction magnetometers recorded, in June, September, December 1996 and March 1997. The purpose is to investigate the Pc3 pulsation occurrence and propagation characteristics in the cusp latitudes. The results are summarized as follows. At the Zhongshan-Davis station, the Pc3 pulsation occurred mainly around the local noon/local magnetic noon. In daytime, the pulsation had a seasonal variation in amplitude, occurrence and temporal range. All of them were smallest in June. The pulsation propagating direction was mainly westward in daytime. It is suggested that the different sources of the pulsation and the ionospheric electric conductivity are probably responsible for these characteristics.
