英文摘要 | The contribution of a small osmotic pressure into the exact circular biconcave solution (H. Naito, M. Okuda, Ou-Yang Zhong-Can, Phys. Rev. E 48 (1983) 2304; 54 (1996) 2816) of the spontaneous curvature model of Helfrich leads to a definite and new theoretical consequence, the radius of the apex of the biconcave shape can shift toward to or apart from the center depending on the increase or decrease of the osmotic pressure. This result is in agreement with the following observed phenomena: The first stage of the discocyte-echinocyte and the discocyte-spherocyte transformation induced by exposing the cells to high concentrations of certain chemical agents; and the ring-shaped torocyte formation due to the iron deficiency or thalassemia.
