| 附注 | Satellite networks have some special characteristics, such as the big propagation delay and high bit-error rate, these characteristics make TCP protocols incapable of providing satisfying service for satellite networks. The paper proposes a renovation protocol based on hop-by-hop Acknowledgment against the traditional end-to-end TCP for satellite networks, which uses ACK associated with SNACK together to ensure the end-to-end reliability. It also uses load factor to do congestion control, which fully utilize the link bandwidth. The protocol is extraordinarily suitable for satellite networks and achieves the near-optimal performance. |
