中文摘要尽管计算机辅助设计软件(Computer Aided Design, 简称CAD)目前被广泛地应用于建筑设计、机械制造等领域并极大地提高了工作效率,但在功能和交互方面还存在一定的改进余地。在功能方面,目前CAD系统多注重设计结果的精确表达,而对设计过程中方案知识的有效利用支持不足;同时大多数CAD系统用于设计过程中的详细设计阶段,而对创新性自由度最大的概念设计阶段的支持不够有效。在交互方面,目前CAD系统多采用WIMP范式(基于桌面隐喻、使用视窗、图标、菜单、指针的界面范式,如典型的Windows应用程序界面)的交互方式,这种方式与设计师用勾画草图进行设计、构思的工作习惯不符合,离有效支持设计人员进行创新设计尚有一定距离。草图是一种在人-机和人-人之间流畅表达思路的高效、自然的信息载体,绘制草图是设计者进行设计工作时的习惯方式,绘制草图过程中纸和笔是人们普遍使用的交互工具。用户使用笔可以在最小的限制下自由地进行书写和绘图,这对于设计过程中设计者快速自然地记录稍纵即逝的构思灵感非常重要。本文在深入分析针织服装设计过程的基础上,将草图界面技术引入了服装工艺概念设计和详细设计阶段,全面研究了相应的工艺知识推荐技术、自由曲线编辑技术等,开发了一个基于草图的针织服装工艺设计系统,提高了设计效率,缩短了开发周期。论文主要工作包括以下几个方面: 1) 分析了敏捷制造模式下针织服装工艺设计过程的特点,建立了以用户为中心针织服装工艺设计过程模型和用户模型,建立了基于草图的针织服装工艺设计系统功能结构、业务流程和系统框架; 2) 针对针织服装工艺概念设计阶段,提出了基于多叉决策树的草图上下文表示方法,并针对针织服装工艺设计图纸的特点提出了基于草图的两级工艺知识推荐算法,通过整合草图形状信息与勾画过程信息提取相关草图方案实现了概念设计过程中基于草图的方案推荐; 3) 针对针织服装工艺详细设计阶段,总结了自由曲线编辑的交互任务和交互方式,提出了基于草图的自由曲线编辑方式,研究了笔式多维信息交互方式并提出了相应的曲线区域调整算法; 4) 在上述研究的基础上,设计并开发了基于草图的针织服装工艺设计系统,该系统经过了可用性测试并在某羊绒生产企业进行了初步应用,取得了较好的应用效果。
英文摘要Computer Aided Design (CAD) technology has been widely used in several fields, such as architectural design, mechanical manufacturing, which greatly improves productivity. However, in functional and interactive aspects there is still room for improvement. In function, first, CAD systems are generally only concerned with the design decisions, and neglect gathering and reusing design process knowledge; second, most CAD systems require precise data for the detailed design with lack of support for conceptual design, which has the most innovative freedom. In interaction, most current CAD systems, based on the WIMP paradigm (Windows, Icons, Menus, Pointers), do not conform to the designers’ habits of using sketch to design and conceive, and could not effectively support innovative design. Sketch is an efficient and natural information carrier that expresses and conveys thoughts between people and computers as well as people and people. Sketching is a customary manner in the process of designing. And pen and paper are widely used in the process of sketching. Users can freely write and draw with little limitation using pen, which is vital for rapidly and naturally recording the inspirations during the design process. Based on the in-depth analysis of the design process, this thesis introduces sketch interface technology into the knitwear concept design and detailed design phases, studies related techniques, such as sketch-based knowledge recommendation and pen-based curve edit techniques, and develops a sketch-based CAD system for knitted apparels, which increases design productivity and Shortens the development cycle. The main creative contributions of this paper can be summarized as follow: 1) Based on analyzing the characteristics of the knitted apparel design process in agile manufacturing, the user-centered process model of the knitwear design process and user model are established. And the business process, function structure and architecture of sketch-based knitted apparel CAD system are presented in detail. 2) In the conceptual design phase, based on the context representation with Spatial-based Multiple Decision Tree, according to the characteristics of knitted apparel design drawings and process knowledge, a two-level, sketch-based recommendation algorithm is established, which integrates graphic and procedural information to retrieve relevant draft drawings. 3) In the detailed design phase, the interactive tasks and interfaces of curve manipulation are analyzed. Sketch-based curve manipulation algorithm is established. Besides, a series of interactive techniques based on the pen’s multiple information and region-oriented curve manipulation algorithm are designed. 4) On the basis of the above research, a Sketch-based CAD system for knitted apparels is developed. This system, after usability evaluation, has been tried out in cashmere factory.
