英文摘要激光二极管(LD)泵浦固体激光器具有结构简单,性能稳定,泵浦转换效率高,能够获得峰值功率高,脉冲宽度窄的激光输出,已经在国防工业,激光通信、雷达探测、医疗器械、工业生产和信息处理等方面取得了广泛的应用。由于高功率垂直腔免半导体激光器(VCSEL)与传统的大功率边发射半导体激光器相比具有,如输出波长随温度漂移系数较小,制备成本低,耦合效率高等优点。 近年来VCSEL阵列泵浦固体激光器发展十分迅速。 本论文报道了一种VCSEL泵浦的全固态激光器。激光器采用正交双保罗(Porro)棱镜组成的直线谐振腔结构;使用VCSEL阵列对Nd:YAG板条晶体进行侧面泵浦,并用可饱和吸收体Cr4+:YAG作为被动调Q开关,搭建光路系统并进行测量,最终得到重复频率为40Hz,光束质量因子Mx2=1.78,My2=1.55,脉宽为4ns,单脉冲能量为2.1mJ的激光输出。测试表明,该激光器在较大的温度范围内都可以实现稳定的激光输出,同时具有结构紧凑、高抗失谐和振动的特性。然后以VCSEL泵浦的固体激光器为振荡级,使用LD作为放大级泵浦源,利用MOPA结构设计了一种单脉冲能量大于70mJ的MOPA(主控振荡功率放大)结构激光器。 最后对论文进行了总结,并对未来的发展需求对研究内容进行了总结。; There are many advantages of laser diode pumped solid-state slab lasers, such as simple structure, stable performance, high pump-conversion efficiency, high peak power and narrow pulse width. DPSSL have a wide applications in national defence industry, liadar detection, laser communication, medical equipment, industrial production and information processing, and so on.Since vertical-cavity surface-emitting laser(VCSEL) has lots of unique advantages compare to typical edge-emitting laser,e.g small temperature drift coefficient of wavelength, low cost and high coupling efficiency.In recent years, VCSEL pumped solid-state laser has been made great progress. In this paper, a VCSEL pumped solid-state laser is reported. The laser adopted stable double-porro prism to form the cavity,and used VCSEL arrays to pump the Nd:YAG slab crystal, a saturated absorber Cr4+:YAG is used as the passively Q-switch.The optical system was built and the tested. An output with 40Hz pulse repetition rate 4ns pulse width was achieved, the beam qualiy factor was Mx2=1.78,My2=1.55 ,?the single pulse energy was 2.1mJ.The test shows that the laser can get stable laser output in quite large temperature range. In the mean time,it has the charcteristic of compact structure,high resistance to mismatch and vibration. Then the VCSEL pumped solid state laser was applied to work as the oscillator stage of a MOPA(master?oscillator?power?amplifier) structure laser sysytem,in the power amplifier stage, 6 LD stacks was used as the pump source, each stacks have 5 LD bars. The final single pulse energy was above 70mJ. The last chapter was the summery of the thesis, and the demand for the development of the future was prospected.
