Photoluminescence and stress-luminescence of non-piezoelectric ZnS:Cu amorphous materials

英文摘要In this work, the non-piezoelectric ZnS:Cu amorphous powder was sintered at 1100 °C. The dominant photoluminescent emission peak at ∼484 nm can be found upon a ∼365 nm light excitation. An obvious stress-luminescence of ZnS:Cu, appearing reproducibly strong visible emission under mechanical pulse load, is found. The stress-luminescence mechanism of the non-piezoelectric ZnS:Cu amorphous powder may be attributed to the internal energy change under the mechanical pulse load. © 2018 Elsevier B.V.
