Synthesis and hydrochloric acid corrosion of spindle-like and flower-like crystals used for preparation of porous materials from recycled glass

| 英文摘要 | Synthesis of alkali-rich phase is a crucial process for the preparation of porous material. In this paper, spindle-like and flower-like crystals were obtained from recycled glass after annealing at 700-800 degrees C. X-ray diffraction measurement revealed that the crystals were Na2Ca3Si6O16 phase and quartz with partial crystallization. The Na2Ca3Si6O16 crystals disappeared after hydrochloric acid treatment. It could be attributed to the dissolution of Na2Ca3Si6O16 in acid solution. The growth mechanism of flower-like and spindle-like crystals could also be explained. This work provides a perspective for the preparation of separation membrane from recycled glass. |
