英文摘要 | A simple technique combining dynamic column with static bath ion exchange procedure was used to extract boron from salt lakes brine. All the cations in brine were first adsorbed by cation-exchange resin (H+ form) loaded into a column. Except boron, the anions in brine were adsorbed by the addition of anion-exchange resin (OH- form) to the elution containing anions and boron when the pH value of elution was controlled to be 4. The recovery of boron was > 98%. The solution was evaporated at 60 degrees C until the boron concentration of elution was about 1 g/L. The isotopic ratio of boron was determined by thermal ionization mass spectrometry based on the measurement of Cs2BO2+ ion with graphite loading. The results showed that there was no isotopic fractionation to be found after ion-exchange process. |
